I found my first Devon Rex in 1989 when I visited a friend who just had bought a black male. I could not resist to have one of my own and after much research and learning, I had my first litter. Since then, much has happened, some good and some bad but all in all, I would still say that we have come further today when it comes to the health of the breed than before. One of the things that make me sad though is when breeders are more concerned about having well-typed cats than healthy ones. Lately I have seen some cats with features that without a doubt are the result of inbreeding. We have come a long way, and should make use of the the knowledge we have made.

My cats are as social as they come. Our family has not taught our cats that there is no limit to were they are allowed so they sleep with us in our beds and play with the toys of the kids.

Many may think otherwise but somehow, I feel that children that grow up with animals become more tolerant towards the living in general. It is sad to know that our cats do not always stay with us forever but the time spent together is not comparable to anything else and I would not be without my cats for anything.

I will not either compromise anyone else from making this experience, even though I will demand references from known people, breeder friends or judges. I also demand that all buyers pick up their cats at my place. You are always welcome to our house.

I speak Swedish, English, German, some French and Dutch. Even if I have been breeding Devon Rex cats since 1989, I still sometimes feel like a beginner. It is important to realize that there will always be something new to learn and to teach others. At this time, I have sold Devons to single men and women, married couples, families with children of all ages, dogs and also of course to cat owners who already had other Devons or other breeds. Many come back for "seconds" or will start their own breeding. Need privacy in Your home? Maybe You should consider yet one more time if Devon is Your breed?

Most of my cats are sold long before they are born. I usually do not have any special restrictions. I follow the regulations of my the European Association, FIFE and the Swedish Association, SVERAK. The laws in Sweden are also very strict when it comes to the obligations I as a breeder have towards a buyer, even though the rules are somewhat less strict when selling to a breeder.

If You are interested in making a reservation, please call or send me an e-mail. I do ship internationally if it is convenient for the cat.
